One of the discussions I have with a friend of mine is whether or not Herman Miller's Aeron chair is better than Humanscale's Liberty Chair. I know that I am right and that the Liberty chair is leaps and bounds better than the aeron chair.
Humanscale's liberty, with Form-Sensing Mesh Technology, is unlike any mesh chair you’ve seen or experienced. With its tri-panel construction, Liberty has the body-fitting contours that single-panel stretch mesh chairs simply can’t achieve. And it offers perfect lumbar support for everyone, without external devices or manual adjustments.
I sit in this chair every day and I have to say, I really don't miss the aeron chair, which is the chair I used to use.
There are two big reasons that I prefer the Liberty Chair over Aeron. First, the chair reclines without my having to think about it. With the aeron, it was impossible to get the chair to the right setting, which meant I eventually locked the recline. That killed my neck and shoulders.
The second reason is that the seat on the Liberty chair is made of this type of memory foam, which is way more comfortable and supportive than the Aeron chair.
